Originated with goose-farming the company was founded in 1903
Our History
Since the foundation more than 120 years ago, Peter Kohl has been runned by the Kohl family and we proudly state:

Feather and Down as a by-product were sold from the beginning to surrounding bedding stores
1936
The first feather and down factory was built on the property of the Kohl family
1936
Back then the first washing lines and sorting machines were installed and the transformation into industrial down- and feather processing started
1936
Since then, the feather and down materials are not only sold in Germany, but also exported to surrounding countries.
1980
In 1980 the company moved to the industrial area of Flörsheim and is still located here today
Today
Today the company is runned by Franz Kohl, the third generation. The production facility hosts a state of the art machinery park and is equipped with a modern in house laboratory
